System Design

Low & Open

• All birds can be seen and managed from ground level
• No need to climb on the system on daily basis – important for H&S
• Can see right through from litter to nest (unlike tower systems)
• Easy to ventilate and maintain good litter (no need for positive pressure system)

Centre Cantilever Leg

• Very little fixed to the floor = cleaning easier – other systems typically have legs every 5 feet
• Can use offset bucket arm to clean out with machine
• Simple and robust construction

Stress Free Movement

• Birds can move easily throughout the system

Nest Boxes

• Original AstroTurf (3 yr warranty) – perforated to allow muck & dust to fall through
• Top nest floor has auto clean tray underneath to capture muck & dust

Egg Belt

• One large egg belt with heavy duty drives
• Only one transfer point minimising egg seconds
• Dished and supported longitudinally to minimise damaged eggs

Lighting

• Every 1.5m underneath all manure belts – keeps birds active & reduces floor eggs
• LED bulbs – all dimmable & inter changeable throughout system
