Plasson provides a wide range of modern nipple solutions, cups & bell drinkers. We can help you to choose the right system for your type of bird and your bird environment and we can call on the expertise of Plasson whenever required.

Nipples Lines

Critical to the value of a Plasson system is the simplicity, quality and reliability of all the components in the Plasson nipple lines.

The classic Plasson aluminium profile & round pipe combine with the Plasson SADDLE GRIP nipple to make the lines more rigid and robust than other systems.

We always recommend the Plasson patented SADDLE GRIP nipple on the Plasson high performance round tube.

Anti perch systems can be easily  fitted to the aluminium profile.  Conversely, for perching,  we can also attach the saddle grip nipple and Plasson high performance round tube directly to perch tubes. 

This means you can fit Plasson drinking systems against nests and in aviaries with clips and without the aluminium profile if required.

    Plasson nipple solution for broilers

    Target : Day old broiler chicks  rapidly growing to mature weight.
    It requires a moderately low flow nipple with 360 nipple movement to give the chicks the best opportunity to access water while minimising wet litter
    Standard Nipple : Orange*
    Flow rate : Refer to flow rate table
    Nipple Action :  360 degree
    Cups : Yes
    (*Higher flow grey rearing nipple also available)

    For those important marginal gains :  Water on Demand & Automatic (Wireless) Flush Control is highly recommended (see below)

      Plasson nipple solution for laying / breeding pullets

      Target : Day old layer/breeder chicks up to transfer
      For floor, platform or aviary reared chicks you need a nipple with 360 nipple movement to give the chicks the best opportunity to access water while minimising spillage.

                Bell Drinkers

                While the use of nipple lines has become increasingly popular,  Plasson built its great reputation on the back of its Bell Drinkers (especially in turkey rearing) and these drinkers continue to be popular all over the world.

                If you prefer the traditional bell drinker or simply need spares we can provide these.

                Plasson Automatic Flush Control

                This is a no-brainer next step for any existing or new drinker lines

                If you are after the marginal gains of fresh water for your birds and a simple labour saving automatic method of flushing all your water lines as regularly as you want, then the uncomplicated process of fitting a Plasson MK2 regulator means you can also install Plasson’s easy to use Wireless Bluetooth Flush Control.  A small control panel (plug and play) is fitted within a 20m range of the regulators. Download the user friendly control app onto your mobile and from it, set the control box to flush multiple times per day or by temperature thresholds.  And whatever existing drinker line system you have, we probably have the adaptor required to add our wireless Auto flush.  (A cabled option is available)

                Plasson Water On Demand (WOD)

                PLASSON WOD is the most practical and effective way of controlling the pressure and water flow across all nipple lines in a house.  No more messing around with individual regulators. The system automatically maintains the programmed pressures so the correct water flow is supplied in the nipples throughout the day, every day, for the life of your birds.  It enables a pressure boost to be programmed in during high consumption hours.   It is either controlled via a stand-alone controller or connected to the main house controller.
