All of Potters’ rearing farms are company owned and family run. Any contract rearers we do use are very local, which ensures we can manage them and that everything remains under our control and is done the Potter’s way!

The majority of our farms are spread across the midlands, with two being further afield in Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire. The geographical location of our farms provides easy access to laying farms across the whole of the UK.

Potters rear over 1.5 million birds per year currently, with 90% of them going into Free-Range and Barn systems. With this in mind, everything we do is geared towards preparing the birds for ‘Life on the Range’.

All of Potters’ rearing farms are managed on a daily basis by highly experienced staff, several of which have taken over from their previous generation. A comprehensive training programme is attended by all of our staff to keep them up to date with all husbandry and industry issues.
